Job Description

Danfoss in Longmont, CO is searching for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join their team. This role will begin in Summer 2021, on-site at our manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Design checking fixtures to be 3D printed to aid production operator


• Assist in Kaizen event in production cells


• MSA studies on various equipment


• Assist in updating production work instruction and production equipment job aids


• Support other engineers with various daily projects

Background & Skills

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or similar


• Sophomore level or above


• Basic CAD skills to design fixtures


• Good problem solving skills


• Strongcommunication skills


• Basic ME skills for understanding processes and product functions


• Good written skills for updating work instructions


• Ability to problem solve and drive solutions to completion


• Ability to work full-time in Summer 2021, with the potential to continue part-time during Fall 2021
