Job Description

In preparation for contract task order bid and potential win, Torch Technologies, a 100% employee owned company, is looking to identify capable candidates. Candidates with incumbent experience are urged to apply.

The successful candidate will support assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. The candidate will achieve this through passive evaluations (compliance audits) and active evaluations (vulnerability assessments). This includes but not limited to: create/update and support SOPs, maintain and update systems in eMass, mitigate vulnerabilities and update POAM, conduct SCAP scans, install software and OS update to systems to maintain compliance according to IAVAs and STIGS, install software for users, troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise on the systems. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. This includes process support, analysis support, coordination support, security certification test support, security documentation support, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring. Direct experience with the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) or JADOC-Developmental (JADOC-D) is highly desired.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 2 years related experience is required and A Bachelor's degree in related field is desired, however substitution with applicable training and experience will be considered.


Position requires an active SECRET security clearance to access classified information. A Top Secret Clearance is highly desired. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
