Job Description:


The Operational Risk Analyst will work to identify, measure, monitor and report risks and exposures across the organization: Risk and Control Self Assessments, Operational Loss and Near Miss Event tracking, Process Mapping and Control Testing.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a system to support the ongoing reporting and analysis of metric data

  • Risk Reporting

  • Analyze and identify trends in operational risk events, Risk and Control Self Assessments, control testing, and audits

  • Develop and maintain methods for extracting data, creating reports, analyzing data to identify risk trends across the organization

  • Generate reports and dashboards

  • Maintain a data system to track and report on KRIs and risk appetite metrics over time

  • Implement and maintain Operational Risk Management's Control Testing Methodology

  • Assist in identifying or developing tools or methods to track and monitor risk and outstanding items requiring follow-up and resolution

  • Key Risk Indicators - Work with Management in facilitating the administration of Key Risk Indicators

  • Research and implement best practices in risk management

  • Partner closely with Information Security, Compliance, Vendor Management, and Operations to assess the risk and control environment

  • Promote training and awareness of Operational Event Reporting across the organization

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience equivalent

  • Strong background in risk, testing, compliance or audit required

  • 3-7 years of risk related work experience, preferably in the financial services industry. General knowledge of Credit Administration and/or Loan Operations preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, Visio and SharePoint
