Specialist - Onsite Technical Support

  • An Executive / VIP Support Specialist to provide day-to-day white glove process and technical support for Senior Executives and their Administrative Assistants

  • This role requires a very high level of technical proficiency and requires an individual with executive presence and strong communication skills

  • The team member must quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve issues related to PCs, mobile devices, printers, videoconferencing, business application software, telecommunication issues and potentially local network issues

We will count on you to:



  • Perform general IT maintenance tasks, resolving moderate to complex problems immediately; if needed, more complex IT issues will be coordinated with higher-level support staff with the team member owning and tracking the issues through resolution

  • Have excellent verbal, written, & communications skills

  • Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new product acquisitions and upgrades

  • Support Executive level conferences and events at the headquarters location as well as occasional offsite events (i.e.) board meetings, leadership meetings, etc. and at times globally so should be willing to travel

  • Be at the front line of corporate technology implementations, learning the new technologies, preparing the executive team for use and supporting the technologies through their lifecycle

  • Performs installations, maintenance, training, troubleshoots and repairs of all desktop hardware/software technologies

  • Assists with setup, and operation of audio visual hardware as required by end user

  • Supports event, such as infrastructure changes, software releases, BCP etc

  • Assists in administration and maintenance of non-desktop technology infrastructure components at the request of other service towers

  • Assists in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of office telephony systems




What you need to have:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (equivalent) with experience in a large, global enterprise

  • Familiar with ITIL and ITSM processes

  • Extensive experience supporting internal desktop systems software and hardware, application training, and overall incident ownership and management

  • Extensive experience working in support of desk side services with specific focus on supporting executive VP VIP levels and their assistants

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Desktop / Laptops, Apple technologies and Devices and network connectivity

  • Experience with Office365 including advanced troubleshooting

  • Advanced knowledge of iOS and Android mobile devices and experience with MDM solutions

  • Out of hours support is expected due to events, corporate events and general VIP support




What makes you stand out:



  • At least one relevant industry certification to include MCSA, A+, Network+, Security+ is desirable

  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and follow through with assignments
