Role Overview:

The Desktop Support Analyst p rovides support to end users on a variety of issues. The Desktop Support Analyst i dentifies, researches, and resolves technical problems and responds to telephone calls, email, service requests and personnel requests for technical support. The Desktop Support Analyst d ocuments, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. The Desktop Support Analyst thrives on the opportunity to learn and quickly apply learning as they manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Role Responsibilities:

• Provides hardware and software support to local and remote associates and offices


• Troubleshoots associate hardware and software issues


• Manages computer and related system repairs


• Works with vendors in troubleshooting and supporting system


• Works with clients to resolve issues with systems


• Instructs associates on usage of software and hardware as needed


• Travels to remote sites as needed to provide support


• Installs, upgrades, and maintains hardware and software


• Configures and install software on systems


• Develops and maintains documentation


• Manages equipment inventory and disposal process


• Works with vendors to obtain quotes and purchase hardware, software and other IT related equipment and services within allotted budget


• Researches hardware capability for new products and make appropriate recommendations for purchase


• Creates training materials as needed


• Assists other IT personnel as needed


• Works on special projects and other functions as assigned


• Understands and agrees to role-specific information security access and responsibilities


• Ensures safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to the organizations information security policies


• Reads, understands, and agrees to security policies and complete all annual security and compliance training

Role Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in information technology


• Experience in computers, software, networking and associated equipment


• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Computer Hardware, TCP/IP


• Strong oral and written communication skills, and a customer service, solutions-oriented nature


• High school diploma required Associate's degree in computer science preferred; or equivalent work experience


• Strong work ethic and ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
