The RHG VP, Geography (GeoVP) is responsible for developing revenue opportunities with various federal, state, and local government entities. RHG and Protiviti have seen significant growth and our 20+ years of experience in the public sector has demonstrated the industry potential for our project staffing, consulting and managed services In the role, the GeoVP will focus on a target list assigned by the Managing VP, consisting of high target state and local governments. Additionally, the GeoVP will support an assigned geography and team with field, managed services and Protiviti to help expand our industry depth. The Geo VP may also take a sector specialization assigned to cultivate sub industry strategies with various solutions teams, including attending focused conferences and events with networking opportunities as well as helping to expand our branding through hosting of roundtables and other marketing events.
The GeoVP will generate new business by developing relationships and new opportunities within assigned targets and geography support. Responsibility area may include geography, industry sector, and solutions.
Generating new business within assigned accounts at the federal, state and local government, as well as public and higher education.
Building long-term relations with government executives, understanding their objectives and priorities and aligning pursuits with our solution and high demand offerings for the public sector.
Generating an assigned revenue target for the calendar year.
Conducting high level client strategy meetings and quarterly business reviews, focused at the executive levels.
Understanding and studying federal government procurement trends and knowing how they affect the public sector.
Participating in select annual government conferences and associations to deepen and widen relationships.
Collaborating with field offices, strategic accounts, Protiviti and other stakeholders to ensure project set-up, job orders are sourced and filled quickly, to ensure contract compliance and high level of client satisfaction
Assisting in the resolution of any major (client) issues that arise with the account.
Through the ZOOM Info and government databases, working with the key locations to ensure the customer service and penetration into the account is optimized
Building strong client sponsors who embrace the RHG strategy
Promotes and supports an inclusive work environment where diversity and inclusion are championed.
Minimum of three years’ experience in RHSA or equivalent role developing complex projects, with a proven track record for being a top performer.
Internal Robert Half experience as a top performing Metro Manager or higher, with previous experience as a top performing account leader for large strategic accounts clients in professional services organizations.
Experience with government organizations or government contracting firms is a plus but not required.
Proven motivation and collaboration skills
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills at the C-suite level
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized and able to interpret and draw relevant insights from various resources and methodologies
Able to manage multiple clients, maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction
25% or more domestic travel may be required, in conjunction with company policy and federal, state and local guidelines.
