Job Description:

The Senior Marketing Associate is responsible for developing, executing, and managing multiple marketing programs/campaigns to support key retail marketing initiatives across multiple channels, with heavy emphasis on digital channels. These programs could include awareness campaigns, product launch marketing, website-specific marketing experiences, local listings management, acquisition, customer cross-sell and retention.

Core Responsibilities

Serving as the creative marketing leader driving best-in-class consumer experiences, the following responsibilities are key to the role:


  • Leading internal and external agency briefing and creative development
  • Managing campaigns (digital and print, awareness and offer-based) ensure initiatives are on-strategy, on time and within budget parameters;
  • Optimizing direct response marketing campaigns to improve results, create efficiencies and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with marketing managers to identify opportunities, campaign strategy and the framework for measurement and reporting
  • Ensuring strong focus on end-to-end customer experience, delivering exceptional customer experience overall, while also ensuring all the details of the experience are flawlessly executed
  • Managing multi-channel execution (from concept development to delivery) including working across multi-functional teams, such as:

    • Product and Marketing Strategy team
    • Agencies for creative development and execution
    • Modeling team, list team and list brokers to influence and coordinate targeting
    • Analytics team to report campaign results and campaign optimization recommendations
    • Print/Production/Fulfillment Agencies (and or liaison)
    • Legal and Compliance for approval of all marketing content


Qualifications

  • Proven track record in direct or digital marketing - 3-5 years of experience is required
  • Digital consumer marketing experience in owned, earned and paid channels - Strong executional knowledge of social, paid display, email, and website creative required
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, with strong skills in multi-tasking and prioritization
  • 2+ years of agency/vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of database marketing principles, segmentation, testing and results measurement
  • Ability to think strategically, but willingness to \"roll up your sleeves\" and manage the details of direct marketing project execution
  • High ene rgy, solutions oriented individual with the ab ility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constant improvement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Specific experience in financial services including debit or credit marketing and/or agency-side experience is a plus
  • 4-year college degree preferred
