Job Description:

The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) function is part of the Corporate Sector and responsible for working across the firm to reduce exposure to access control related threats and regulatory and audit issues. Reporting into the GIAM Program Management, the primary function of the role is to provide comprehensive strategic support to lead the firm-wide effort supporting Strategic Data Center and Access Transformation Identity and Access Management Program(s).

As an experienced professional in Project Management, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget, and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration, and promote the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with management and work-stream leadership to develop and maintain a baseline approach for measuring and tracking program details and success day-by-day and over the entire program lifecycle.
  • Work across lines of business and functional teams to manage milestones , key metrics and KPIs, including monthly reporting on: Adoption / Migration, Audit, Stability, Change, Issues, breaks, operations
  • Manage meetings, activity reporting requirements with central programs and stakeholders
    Be a trusted business partner to enable technology by managing overall planning, communications and reporting.
  • Flexibility in work process - from taking meeting notes/actions, entering JIRAs, configuring Confluence dashboards, presenting plans to senior management and executing a high-touch program.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, and qualifications including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten years (10) experience leading large, complex and highly visible programs that have significant financial, reputational or regulatory risk, and requires deep and broad subject mater expertise.
  • Expert knowledge in business processes across the enterprise as well as within an lines of business and technology platforms. Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Must have a collaborative and participative style. Professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and sound decision-making skills allied with the ability to interact at senior executive level are essential.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi task and drive the agenda under pressure
  • Expert MS Office particularly PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge and management of SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence
  • Prior experience as a key member/leader of an enterprise level or business segment PMO
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
