Develop planning scenarios for staffing and expense by function for monthly forecasts and annual budget cycles
Perform analytics related to P&Ls, forecasts, budgets, key business drivers, and productivity metrics, and create value added reporting that helps drive key business decisions
Partner continuously with the business to gather insight on operational process changes, volume demand, productivity updates, and strategic initiatives
Collaborate closely with the Capacity Planning Team to ensure alignment and accuracy of headcount forecasts based on demand driven capacity model staffing requirements
Manage Business Reviews, ensuring key strategy, financial risks/opportunities, and other priority items are communicated effectively across Operations leadership
Conduct and problem solve ad hoc financial analysis based on senior management requests
Perform accurate month-end close process including variance analysis
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Key Qualifications & Skills:
BA / BS degree in Business, Finance, or other quantitative field with fundamental understanding of Accounting principles
Experience in retail home lending/financial services industry preferred
Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations
Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results highlighting broad strategic impact
Strong team player with self-starting motivation and flexible work style
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and key add-ons, e.g. PitchPro
Ability to query business intelligence tools
