Role Responsibilities
The Bottling Supervisor contributes to the success of the overall plant operation by empowering hourly employees to meet the production and cleaning requirements on third shift.  The Bottling Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of the Bottling, Safety and Maintenance department during second shift operations.  The second shift supervisor will work cohesively with the rest of the supervisory team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and then drive the process to impact the results.   
 
Job Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate overall sanitation duties with Bottling Manager
• Supervise third (3rd) shift personnel to ensure bottling lines are equipped, cleaned and prepared for the next day's operations including providing direction and coaching regarding Sanitation, Production, Safety, GMP's and Quality Assurance.
• Develop and implement long-term plan for cleaning and painting of all bottling equipment including the enhancement and development of the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Documentation and communication of all equipment and production concerns occurring on bottling lines.
• Oversee the distribution of all equipment, repair parts and supplies in the stockroom on third shift.
• Supervise Processing, Shipping and Plant Maintenance employees during extended overtime as required or requested.
• Keep up-to date with fire protection systems at both plants.
• Keep the Bottling Department neat, clean and free of safety hazards.
• Enforce labor agreement and maximize the use of available manpower to meet production schedules.
• Provide Team Leadership.
• Ensure buildings, to include mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems are secured.
• Adheres to and promotes environmental health and safety as one of the organization's business priorities.
• Accept all other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and Safety Regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education-Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Certifications/Licensure-SAP, HACCP and ISO or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Level of experience-Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.  Strong problem solving ability.  Working knowledge of computer systems, to include the MicroSoft Office suite of applications.
• Industry experience-Ability to lead a team in a unionized environment.  Knowledge of Food Safety and GMP practices. 
• Must have mobility to access all areas of the plant, climb ladders and walk up and down stairs, stoop and bend, and lift up to 40lbs. 
• Must be able to travel when required
