DESCRIPTION

With offices throughout Ohio, including Columbus, the successful candidate will work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager in the office to prepare structural calculations, bridge plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.

Position Duties:

• Prepare structural designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Perform structural analysis and load rating calculations
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design team

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (E.I.T.) (Passed or Pursuing)
• 2-4 years of engineering experience
• Software proficiency - structural design software, CAD (MicroStation & AutoCAD), Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation
• Working experience with ODOT is preferred
