SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing new US GAAP standards, including Lease Accounting, along with managing the corporate-wide financial reporting function.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the implementation of new US GAAP standards, including Lease Accounting. Coordinate and manage the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports of the company, including all required disclosures, and interaction and coordination with the external audit firm. Oversee systems, internal controls, policies and procedures related to accounting and financial reporting, including compliance oversight and development of new policies and policy updates as necessary. Research complex technical accounting and reporting issues and prepare position papers and supporting documentation as necessary. Manage and mentor the corporate financial reporting team and direct their activities.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. CPA required.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years managerial and professional business experience including preparation and review of audited financial statements in accordance with US GAAP to include all required disclosures, and extensive experience in research and implementation of new US GAAP standards. Significant audit and financial reporting experience with a nationally recognized accounting firm.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with Oracle Financials preferred.

COMPETENCIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skils.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.

FLSA STATUS: The position is Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health are expected to be respected and complied with.
