Account Manager



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Monitors and analyzes Key Performance Indicators from customer distribution agreements and takes appropriate action.

  • Have firm understanding and adherence to all assigned concept policies, procedures, and the distribution agreement.

  • Performs account contract administration with regard to the accounts' new products, promotions and new restaurant openings.

  • Responds to customer's needs related to product sampling, pricing, and delivery schedules.

  • Ensures profitability by reviewing cost and pricing to customers on a weekly basis keeping in mind market sensitivity and monthly contract maintenance.

  • Recognizes, analyzes, and resolves customer issues accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Accurately codes new business contracts ensuring consistency among item codes to be used in building price catalogs and order guides.

  • Monitors and guides Customer Service Representatives' work.

  • Monitors and analyzes service level reports and takes appropriate action.

  • Monitor the SIAR report on a daily basis and review exceptions with the purchasing department.

  • Visits accounts as scheduled by supervisor.

  • Organizes account files and records.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a sales support or account management role.
