PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lincoln Electric is looking for Mechanical and Electrical engineers to help further advance our technology as well as our manufacturing process. Opportunities include but are not limited to Research and Development, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Plant Engineering and Operations Management.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Applies engineering and scientific knowledge to projects of limited scope.
Machine or system design
Create design specifications, manufacturing documentation, fabrication prints, assembly drawings and test procedures.
Plan and oversee testing of prototype equipment
Identify cost reduction, quality and safety improvement opportunities
Partner with team members to ensure seamless integration of system components
Maintains records of all work in process and documents interim/final results in the applicable format. These include Project Definitions, Milestone Plans, ES Reports, Technical Reports, Project Tracking, Progress Reports and presentations at meetings/seminars.
Apply LEAN ideas to improve flow of production
Program embedded C, C++, .Net, VDHL
Install telecommunications and network infrastructure
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
Bachelor degree, in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. (Computer and software engineering also acceptable)
Minimum 5 years engineering experience.
Excellent problem solving skills
Possesses and applies fundamental engineering and scientific principles, practices and procedures, within the field of specialization, to the completion of assignments.
Advance experience with working knowledge of MSWord, MSExcel, MSAccess and MS PowerPoint
Possesses developed written and verbal communication skills.
Documented efficiency while working in a cross-functional team environment.
