Job Description:

SUMMARY

Welcomes guests, takes food and beverage orders, and processes payment for guests of the venue in which they are working. Ensures all guests have a fantastic first impression of our F&B Venues as well as a lasting impression just before the guests leave the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Greets, takes food and beverage orders, and processes payments.
• Maintains outstanding guest service relations for all guests entering and leaving the Restaurant.
• Ensures cleanliness of cashier station, menus, and all other tools necessary for their position.
• Answers the telephone.
• Upholds safe and sanitary work environment.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic knowledge of math, cash handling, and telephone skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to provide a guest friendly environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive professional working relationship with management and co-workers.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must have or obtain a food handler's card from the Cherokee Nation.
• Must pass alcohol awareness training provided by CNE.
• Must have or obtain a liquor license.

• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work involves handling on average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and standing and/or walking for more than 4 hours a day. Work involves moderate exposureto unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or load noises.
