Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Human Resources Data Analyst, Employee Service Center to join our team in Maitland, Florida.


The Role:


The Employee Service Center "ESC") provides services and support for 30,000+ employees and managers across the US. The Human Resources Data Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR processes and data. This role will use business acumen, and critical thinking, to pull data from a variety of sources that can be used to investigate issues, conduct audits, and identify trends in specific HR areas. The Analyst validates data and process integrity to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of services. This individual will capture services, end-to-end processes and procedures used to perform the work in the assigned area with a dual focus on user experience and self-directed actions when possible. This role supports and facilitates process transformation, continuous improvement efforts, and Mergers & Acquisitions, actively seeking ways to simplify ("lean"), automate, and scale solutions. The Analyst will work within the ESC and with key stakeholders across HR to perform audits to prevent errors before they are processed and to resolve any known issues in a timely manner. The incumbent will be involved in development and execution of key HR programs, processes, and implementations, working closely with HR shared services leadership and operations teams. The Analyst will work on Mergers and Acquisition projects to ensure a single point of contact for all data related requests, ensuring data quality is provided timely, and accurately.


Responsibilities:



  • Understand, uphold, and improve the service model for consuming and delivering HR operational services.

  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including core human resource information system (HRIS) and related modules, pay and time inputs and outputs, case management and telephony, surveys, interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors' practices, and other sources.

  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to a specific situation or topic area, such as payroll processing and audits, absence and accommodation case processing and lifecycle, regulatory and HR compliance requirements, and other talent, development, and performance information.

  • Works with other analysts to document and share ESC success stories grounded in data-driven measurement.

  • Identifies, confirms, and addresses data integrity issues as identified and through regular audits.

  • Pulls data in support of specific need and organizes to explain findings, results, and trends.

  • Helps to capture process standards and operating procedures to measure consistency in approach, delivery, and results.

  • Research best practices and emerging trends as well as metrics and analyses to recommend improvements for operational effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Conducts or assists with classification and verification audits to ensure appropriate classifications and accurate reflection of current business, organization, people, and process categorization.

  • Works with and supports other ESC analysts and the Data Analytics Center of Excellence team to create and deliver reports, metrics, dashboards, and other presentation in a variety of areas.

  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

  • May assist HR leadership with business and program analysis related to program intake or reengineering.

  • Provides support, coaching and training to process administrators.

  • Participate in defining and delivering reports and measurement for specified area.

  • Supports strategic efforts, such as co-/out-sourcing, automation, acquisitions, volume organizational and staffing changes, and technology solutioning - from ideation through management.

  • Contributes, represents, and rotates within various HR capability/subject areas. Areas include:

  • Process, project, program and/or product management training, resource management

  • Works with leaders to support other priorities and activities as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 3 years' experience in high volume processing, fast-paced environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

  • 3+ years working in an HR or Global Business shared services environment.

  • High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), data mining and reporting systems.

  • Demonstrated experience and application of business acumen and HR process expertise.

  • Strong communication (oral and written), facilitation and relationship management skills.

  • Technical, hands-on experience and deep understanding of data analysis and HR systems.

  • Ability to simplify, present and report complex issues.

  • Proactive and self-directed learner with strong consultation and facilitation skills.

  • Strong customer focus and user empathy.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and change with the ability to leverage innovate technologies, solutions and leading-edge processes.

  • Understanding and practice of extreme confidentiality and information security.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with 8,000+ employee population comprised of corporate, hourly, production, manufacturing, and union workers.

  • Knowledge and training in core HR systems (on-premises and cloud) highly desirable; experience or certification in PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle, ServiceNow, Absence Tracker, and Kronos preferred.

  • Adept in Visio, Lucid Charts, Pro Mapp or other process mapping and management tools.
