You oversee customer relationships and work in partnership with them to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both Mondelēz International and the customer.

  • Develop and drive broad customer relationships across all levels with a key focus on building relationships at the senior level within the customer

  • Define and execute the strategy for the customer

  • Lead and manage a customer team to develop Powerful Customer Partnerships and define and deliver the customer Joint Business Plan and Mondelēz revenue targets

  • Provide strategic customer leadership; revenue planning and forecasting and lead the execution of commercial strategies to develop and execute the customer JBP.

  • Provide leadership and development for the Key Account team

  • Provide direction to cross functional business partners in all interaction with the customer

What you need to know about this position:

The Customer VP (CVP) – Food Service will provide leadership and direction for all Mondelēz International selling efforts at or through Food Service Customers, Distributors and/or Wholesalers. The CVP will be responsible for achieving targeted business results by accelerating revenue growth and profitability, building market share, containing operating expenses and driving organizational excellence for all Customer Business Teams.  Additionally, the CVP will provide strategic leadership, build organizational excellence and lead customer development. Key responsibilities will be to:

•Develop and implement Food Service business strategies and plans for Customers, Distributors and/or Wholesalers through collaborative relationships and connectivity with the Sales Planning team, business unit leaders and senior sales leaders.•Influence and coordinate cross functional teams (e.g., Category Development, Sales Planning) to execute the customer business strategy.•Communicate Food Service execution standards and monitor performance to achieve Mondelēz International business strategies.  Accomplish work through others and ensure key deliverables are done right, on time and reflect Mondelēz International’s values and standards.•Advance organizational culture and build employee capabilities through training & employee development while building a diverse and inclusive work environment.•Develop and manage operating budgets.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

•Minimum a  10-15 years of Sales and Account Management experience•Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies •Keen understanding of Sales business processes and systems•Leading CPG company experience, ideally in the food service industry•Functional Skills:  People Management, Strategic Agility, Business Acumen, Planning, Priority Setting, Drive for Results and Leadership

Education / Certifications:

•BS Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or Business-related fields

Travel requirements: 50%
