REFRACTIVE SURGERY COUNSELOR - Full Time at Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Chehalis, Washington

Job Description:

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Counsel and schedule referred patients for refractive surgery. Collect, communicate, and distribute the information necessary for surgery with patients, referring doctors, and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute (PCLI) offices.

STATUS Full Time Regular

ORGANIZATION Reports to Refractive Surgery Counselor Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES Duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Counsel patients and provide information required for surgery booking.


2. Schedule surgery time and other necessary appointments.


3. Collect and review pre-op data. Provide consistent communication to referring doctors regarding pre-op and post-op co-management.


4. Provide complete pre-op data to appropriate PCLI offices.


5. Maintain current knowledge of all refractive surgery techniques, processes, etc.


6. Collect, review and input post-op data from doctors.

SCHEDULE Monday Thursday: 7:00am - 6:00pm

Friday: 7:00am 2:00pm

Maximum 40 hours per week
