Job Description:



The data analytics team will provide statistical market and economic analyses as well as thorough business and strategy analysis across the various departments of the organization. The team will be focused on business development, strategy, data analytics and reporting, operations and market intelligence. The position will assist in the evolution of our business systems and processes to achieve business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

•Develop actionable insights by providing analytics that support a broad range of business issues and data types by understanding business processes and how they affect and integrate with enterprise data systems and models

• Lead development of dashboards in enterprise reporting solutions (Qlik, Salesforce) including scoping data requirements, building out data model, and developing programmatic solutions with complex calculations and code that populate the dashboard elements (KPIs, Charts, and Tables)

• Automate repetitive reporting processes using ETL software while maintaining data integrity through QA audits and troubleshooting

• Gathers and refines project definition, process improvement, requirements definition, and use case development with key business stakeholders for analytics projects. While also assessing existing legacy processes to suggest out of the box ideas

• Manages demand and prioritization while also maintaining documents related to data elements, relationships, data flow, dependencies, and their related interfaces

• Works cross-functionally with peers acting as liaison between technical and business departments in developing dashboards and other BI related solutions

• Performs training and knowledge transfer of technology to drive enterprise level adoption

• Develop and maintain predictive model for forecasted revenue projection with goal to improve Forecasting. Maintain statistical predictive analytics to forecast sales results and to provide insight into causation and correlation

• Perform complex data analysis to identify and recommend opportunities to increase revenue or processes based on intel, customer insights, market, and macro-economic regression correlation studies relative to aftermarket truck data and outside sales for the organization

• Professional level SWOT analyses for various customers and product lines which include business case development and overall customer intelligence

• Assist strategy and in the publication of sales operations policies and procedures with Sales Leadership to drive CRM adoption

• Operations freight, labor, and burden cost focused analyses and reporting to improve statistical data for the operations segment of the business

• Drive research that will uncover additional market intelligence on individual customer and product segments

• Work with sales representatives to identify opportunities for improvement and attend sales meetings where appropriate



• Bachelor's degree required; Masters (Statistical/Analytics) or MBA Degree preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years of Business Analyst or similar experience preferred

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word required

• Working knowledge of statistical modeling (R Studio, SAS, Python) preferred

• Advanced skills in data visualization software (Qlik, Microsoft BI, and Tableau)  preferred

• Working knowledge of database design (star/snowflake schemas, normalization) preferred

• Experienced with ETL software such as Alteryx or Informatica preferred

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce preferred

• Experienced with fundamentals of querying databases (Oracle, SQL, AS400, Access) required
