JUDICIAL ATTORNEY TO JUSTICE MELODY STEWART

SUPREME COURT OF OHIO

Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Melody Stewart is accepting applications for the position of Judicial Attorney in her chambers. The position requires a commitment of at least 1 to 3 years.

Judicial Attorneys research and review a variety of complex legal matters and provide written analyses.  Essential skills for the position include excellent written and verbal communication skills, good time-management and organizational skills, keen analytical abilities, and excellent research skills. 

Applicants must be law school graduates already admitted to a bar with a license in good standing.  Preferred qualifications include prior appellate clerking experience or experience practicing and/or teaching law.  The ability to work at a high level independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.  

This is a State of Ohio, exempt, unclassified position. The salary for the position is based upon the applicant’s date of admission to a bar.  A competitive benefits package is also provided.
