Systems Integration Lead - Unified Cloud Platform Operations

Overview
Part of Operations, Legal, and Administrative Affairs (OLAA), the Unified Cloud Platform and Experience Office (UCPEO) has global responsibility for end-to-end transactional experiences for all HPE customers and partners, closed-loop measurement of HPE Voice of the Customer, in addition to business leadership for HPE NextGen IT (NGIT) and the HPE Transformation Office for HPE’s pivot to as-a-Service (aaS).
Reporting to the Vice President of Unified Cloud Platform Operations, the Systems Integration Lead will be a part of a team of professionals tasked with driving alignment across HPE’s business units to a common roadmap of cloud-enabling services (Common Cloud Services / Common Cloud Platform). This role will look after end to end integration of the cloud platform with up and down stream applications such as master data, data lakes, and identity access management (IAM). The role will also focus on compliance and security, ensuring strong collaboration and connection with the relevant compliance functions and leaders. Finally, the System Integration Lead will directly support HPE’s businesses as they enable additional features and functions in their respective applications and consoles via APIs, data flow designs, and automation.
This is a tremendous opportunity to be an integral part of HPE’s pivot to Everything as a Service, and will take on developing and delivering the core capabilities to make it happen. The ability to learn quickly, manage ambiguity, and simplify the complex are critical.
Responsibilities
Support compliance and security aspects around UCEP platform
Document requirements from businesses
Bring in outside intelligence from own research and experience on best practices
Contribute to or own publication of security white papers
Work closely with compliance functions like Global Trade, Privacy, OSRB (Open Source Review Board), and others to drive certifications and standards adoption
Work with engineering teams to capture requirements and identify the need and best approach for key integrations, e.g.
Ensure external users have a single sign on experience by supporting a common IAM system
Integrate platform company and user data with master data systems of record to ensure a Customer 360 view is possible
Drive an approach that enables all HPE business units to leverage common foundational services to promote a truly unified HPE cloud experience
Supporting business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
Working with cross-functional process leads to develop UAT test scenarios
Applies subject matter knowledge to advise senior management on solutions to common and complex business/technical issues that arise
Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities
Engage in continuous collaboration across projects and daily ops – shared accountability
Able to support a high energy, team centric organization
WW position must have time zone flexibility
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
Master Degree in Information Technology or MBA preferred
Visio, flow charting, excellent Microsoft suite skills
Strong business acumen 10-15 years’ experience
Able to engage and communicate with senior leadership
Familiar with project lifecycle: Agile and waterfall experience
Familiarity with requirement tools such as ALM, JIRA, etc
Prior transformational program leadership experience
Experience with SaaS and as-a-Service business models
Extensive analytic skills – experience in data, problem solving
Experience with systems security and compliance topics
Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.
Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to balance listening and advocacy to effectively engage stakeholders in transformational action plans, proposals, and decision making at senior organizational levels
Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management level
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organization, attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity.
