Corporate Paralegal at INS - JC in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Description:

The Insurance Operations Paralegal will work within the Corporate Law department assisting the Insurance Operations attorneys in providing counsel and guidance on the day-to-day and special activities of Arch business units.   Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the candidate will also assist in optimizing the Insurance Operations team’s support framework, along with assisting in the management of department projects and deliverables.

• Primary responsibilities will include drafting, revising, and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and assisting with company responses to consumer complaints related to Arch business units.


• Drafting and revising commercial contracts including, but not limited to, TPA agreements, MSAs, program administration agreements, and vendor agreements.


• Assisting with M&A due diligence.


• Assisting with maintenance and support of the department’s contract database management system.


• Drafting correspondence, letters and memoranda.

• Broad experience drafting, reviewing and editing NDAs and other commercial contracts.


• Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to a produce concise, user friendly presentations in all media.


• Highly detailed and organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and consistently delivering good results; excellent deadline management.
