OnTrac is hiring more Maintenance Technicians to support our expanding warehouse facilities. Our Maintenance Technician I will perform maintenance and repair of OnTrac's material handling systems, and will ensure a safe working environment for all. From time to time you may be called in after hours to ensure our MHS (conveyor) systems are working at the optimum capacity.
What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician I
Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems, and material handling equipment to keep our operations running smoothly; responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys and belts
Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment.
Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Daily Inspections of machinery for potential problems
Most of the work is performed independently, but from time to time you will need to tap the shoulder of another OnTrac maintenance member, we work as a team!
Shift: Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Shifts will be rotated within the team to provide Sat and Sun coverage, flexibility required.

What you need to have to be a successful Maintenance Technician I Experience working on the following:
Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary duties
Knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls, VFDs, PLC, Electronic motors (480V). Programming, GUI and or HMI experience a big plus
Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PM’s (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-Phase electrical work.
Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blue prints
Mechanical and or electrical work experience
Industrial electrical knowledge a PLUS
Welding experience a plus
Knowledge of OSHA requirements
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24 hr operations; occasionally work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to lift 60 pounds on a routine basis
Good time management skills and ability to work independently and as a team member
Minimum Requirements for this position
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
1+ yrs related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
Current Driver's License and clean driving record
