As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Demonstrating a high level of service and customer satisfaction via effective scheduling, inventory management, order planning and processing, SKU data management, backorder prevention, and maintaining supplier communication

  • Analyzing and managing working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets

  • Publishing and presenting service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis

  • Monitoring and reporting capacity requirements

  • Analyzing material flow parameters such as lot size, making cycle frequency, replenishment interval, min/max, safety stock, and managing all supply chain sku data

  • Utilizing Supply Chain tools and processes such as Factory Planner, COMS, MIRS, GGSM, PSIA, GDMR, PMCS, eMES, SCPA, Reporting and Analytics, BI, MS Office, SAP

  • Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and improve supply chain speed; Leading cross-functional Green Belt projects and implement process improvement projects; Reviewing and reporting on project progress

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • One (1) year of combined experience in Manufacturing Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and/or SAP in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration from an accredited university

  • Four (4) years or experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing plant

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and/or participating on cross functional teams

  • APICS (The Association for Operations Management) certification or demonstrated progress toward completion

  • Experience leading Six Sigma Green Belt and/or other projects

  • Experience with SAP ERP Software

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills; good presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a team environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to data mine, analytical, and

  • Strong data mining, analytical, and decision-making skills
     

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
