Job Description:

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a full time Office Manager for our Keystone Primary Care office in Columbus, OH! This person will be responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the overall operation of the office.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Maintain an orderly, efficient and well-run office. Oversee daily balancing and responsible for all monies collected.

  • Selects, train/orients departmental personnel. Responsible for daily schedule of work assignments and operations. May need to cover other employees' work responsibilities to ensure work is completed.

  • Reviews and approved electronic payroll and ensures personnel information is sent to Corporate HR Dept. Provides oversight of appropriate time use and monitors the need and frequency of overtime.

  • Assists in employee performance evaluations, recommends merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.

  • Analyses and recommends changes in organization systems, policies and procedures, programs, products and services. Is main contact with the Central Business Office to gather information and assists in implementation of above.

  • Serves as office liaison to promote effective relations with patients, government agencies, vendors, insurance plans and the Central Office and its various departments

  • Coordinates various aspects of the practice to ensure organizational problems are resolved.

  • Collects data, prepares reports, correspondence as required and performs other work as requested. Supports current COPC initiatives.

  • Participates in professional development activities to keep current with trends and practices in health care.

  • Maintains strictest confidentiality and is HIPAA compliant

Requirements:


  • At least one year of office management experience preferably in a medical office setting

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Experience scheduling staff

  • Computer literacy

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
