Contributions

As a Steampunk Senior Program Manager, you will lead one of our largest Software Development efforts, working closely with a with a high performing team of data engineers, designers, infrastructure architects, and cybersecurity experts to bring our teams conceptual solutions to life. You will leverage your vast experience by empowering application teams and Government customers to produce extremely innovative and high volume applications used worldwide.

Steampunk program managers embrace and promote a culture of continuous learning and positivity by working with developers and Design & Strategy team members to co-champion internal training sessions, mentoring, and developing your fellow Steampunks. They also collaborate with Government stakeholders to strategize and co-create ideal solutions in addition to collaborating closely alongside architects and other developers to translate client needs into innovative and forward-thinking approaches, leveraging human centered design.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

    Eligible to obtain and maintain a government public trust.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a software development program with multiple Agile Scrum teams in a Government environment

  • Technical depth in software development to include cloud-based architectures, understanding of containers, microservices, and API management.

  • Experience leading teams using a DevSecOps model with CI/CD Pipelines

  • Experience developing highly scalable applications in high volume environments with extensive monitoring and redundancy

  • An ability to understand business requirements and their implications across a project's technical landscape.

  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey extremely technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills / Attributes:

  • Degree in Computer Science fundamentals in OO design, data structure, and algorithm design.
