We are seeking a Development Outreach and Events Strategist to:

  • Provide outstanding event and project facilitation and donor experience.

  • Serve as the accountable lead for assigned events, projects and initiatives.

  • Participate in development of new event and program concepts.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with internal and external supporters.


Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject such as Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Three (3) years relevant experience in development, event execution or communications in a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred – Five (5) years relevant experience in development, event execution or communications in a highly matrixed organization.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills both in written and verbal presentation with a communication style that is open and foster trust, credibility and understanding.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective organizational, planning and project management abilities.

  • Experience in financial and programmatic presentations.

  • Ability to effect collaborative and promote teamwork.

  • Ability to function independently and dela with multiple, simultaneous projects.

  • Ability to recognize personal strengths and weaknessese and develop goals for professional growth and achievement.

  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and excellence.

Physical Requirements:

Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This full-time, 40 hours per week position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours for events are required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
