Job Description

In this role, you will be working on the maintenance and analysis of data related to the Manulife Global Wealth and Asset Management marketing analyticssegment andhavea holisticresponsibility totheDirect to Consumer business line.

The Digital Analytics Manager is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. You will be responsible for building, expanding and maintaining the business intelligence capabilities for various segments like marketing and product across the organization and will collaborate with team members to assess, manage and respond to the ongoing needs for web analytics.

We are looking for someone with experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods to build and implement models and a proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the health of the data and managing upstream/downstream processes of data and linkages


  • Working closely with internal and external partners to ensure the correct standardization, processes and controls for ingesting data ar e in place across multiple systems


  • Making sure any data integrity issues are resolved in a timely manner by taking responsibility for the execution of steps to fix the error


  • Manage any enhancements to the data infrastructure by ensuring that all key stakeh olders are held accountable and delivering on requirements in a timely manner


  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques


  • Expand our BI footprint for our reporting capabilities


  • Understanding of data transformation and dataflows to support BI reporting


  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, ad targeting and other business outcomes


  • Lead initiatives to integrate new data sources/feeds into the BI too l


  • Drive consistent engagement on data and ensure the data is utilized in all pockets of the business


  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy


  • Quickly able to develop enough business insight to connect data sources across multiple diverse and complicated systems


Job Requirements :


  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in statistics , computer science , e ngineering or related field


  • 5 + years of experience


  • Experience with managing APIs and building data architecture


  • Strong k nowledge of SQL and JSON expertise


  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R or Python) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets


  • Comfortable with applying forecasting models in R or Python


  • Self - motivated team player with a specialist's mindset on statistical and marketing analysis


  • Ability to turn large volumes of data into a concise story and generate actionable insights


  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Domo, Qlik, Tableau


  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines


  • Strong organizational, communications , and time management skills
