Job Description:

The Crossings at Carlsbad, a JC Golf property, has an exciting opportunity for a reliable and efficient Restaurant Food Server with strong customer service skills. This role will be responsible for facilitating restaurant guests' food and beverage orders from the kitchen, and serve in a gracious manner.

HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. 

• Follow all specified procedures to provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to restaurant guests, including artfully describing menu items, taking and serving food and beverage orders; opening, closing and presenting guest checks. 

• Satisfactorily perform, as directed, all routine opening and closing side duties including preparing dessert trays, folding napkins and stocking and pre-set up of kitchen to facilitate meal service. 

• Supervise bus persons to ensure tables are properly set with clean silverware and linens, and correct accessories, throughout shift to promptly clear table at the completion of each course. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Efficient, reliable, safety minded with high quality standards for production and service.

• Minimum of one year experience in food service, including basic knowledge of food and wine service, correct table settings, and dining room etiquette. 

• Good team player, courteous, customer service focused
