Job Description:

Are you a welder? Would you like to make at least $60,000 a year?! We are looking for experienced welders to join our 3rd shift operations team!

High Steel Structures is one of the largest steel fabricators in North America. The company produces steel superstructures for bridges, including some of the most iconic structures in the nation. The company also supplies girders and weldments for construction and industrial applications.

Welders / Fabricators are responsible for performing various fitting, layout, welding, finishing, grinding and related operations to assemble and fabricate various structural steel units, including bridges and other building products. Ideal candidates will be available to work 3rd shift - Monday - Thursday from 8:30 pm - 7:00 am. 

Skilled Welders Start at $20.00 and up. Shift premium for 3rd shift is 25% of your base salary.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required


• Previous welding experience necessary


• The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments desired


• Must be able to pass the required welding certification test.


• Flexibility required to start training on the 1st shift for the first 3-5 weeks prior to transitioning to 3rd
