This medical center has an Accredited Chest Pain Program with PCI and Accredited Heart Failure Program. It has been nationally recognized with an ‘A’ by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and received Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Quality Approval. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Registered Respiratory Therapist will play a large role in keeping it that way.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT reports to the RT Supervisor and is supported by a wonderful team of Respiratory Therapists. The RRT assesses patients with respiratory conditions, develops plan of care, performs respiratory treatments, and instructs patients on how to properly administer respiratory treatments and use respiratory equipment. The RT may also perform diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capability and capacity. The Respiratory Therapist works closely with nurses and physicians to carry out the patient treatment plan.
