A new and exciting opportunity has just opened up in South New Mexico for an Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT. Join this strong health system, and be part of an amazing team of Respiratory Therapists.


This 150+ bed hospital has built a strong reputation in South New Mexico for excellent patient care and outstanding services. This medical center has an Accredited Chest Pain Program with PCI and Accredited Heart Failure Program. It has been nationally recognized with an ‘A’ by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and received Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Quality Approval. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Registered Respiratory Therapist will play a large role in keeping it that way.


The Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT reports to the RT Supervisor and is supported by a wonderful team of Respiratory Therapists. The RRT assesses patients with respiratory conditions, develops plan of care, performs respiratory treatments, and instructs patients on how to properly administer respiratory treatments and use respiratory equipment. The RT may also perform diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capability and capacity. The Respiratory Therapist works closely with nurses and physicians to carry out the patient treatment plan. 


South New Mexico offers epic blue skies, snowy mountain peaks, incredible sea of sand at White Sands National Monument, and the magnificent spectacle of Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The Registered Respiratory Therapist can take a trip to the past at the Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumner and let the Wild West come to life.
