Our Fleet Maintenance Technicians ensure all Fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards and will ensure a safe working environment for all. We believe in safety first which makes this role one of our most important roles in the company.

What you’ll do as a Fleet Maintenance Technician for OnTrac:

• Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment


• Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed


• Work performed outside mostly on trailers – 28’ - 53’ – 28 ft


• May be required to use personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the Company


• Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization

• Shifts available:  Sun - Thu 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM - Must have 2 - 5 yrs experience.  $1/hr shift differential provided


• Shifts available:  Sun - Thu   6:30 AM - 3:00 PM - 1 - 5+ yrs experience


• Shifts available:  Mon - Fri    6:30 AM - 3:00 PM - 1 - 5+ yrs experience

 What you’ll need to be our next Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


• 1 - 5+ yrs experience as semi-trailer maintenance technician; (for entry level positions, casual/personal experience or education only, acceptable)


• Knowledge of semi-trailer  systems and controls


• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures including 90-day and BIT inspections


• Valid driver’s license / Acceptable driving record


• Ability to pass a criminal background check
