Patient Care Tech I - SBCH Pulmonary & Renal (Temporary; Full Time 12hr Night Shifts) at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California

Job Description:

A minimum of one year in a nursing home or acute care or mental health setting is preferred. Must have experience working with a group of patients in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of a nurse. This position will include taking vital signs, assisting with admissions and discharges, computerized charting, obtaining documents and data, providing a safe environment for the patients, and communicating with other staff members and visitors. This position requires a quick learner with good judgment who can react appropriately in an emergency situation. Good organization skills and basic computer skills are required.
