The Crane Superintendent is responsible for oversight of the assembly and disassembly of construction cranes including tower cranes and crawler cranes.  We are seeking career-oriented and dedicated individuals who have an optimistic outlook on new challenges and projects.


Responsibilities



  • Familiar with the assembly and disassembly of various crawler cranes.

  • Preparing and reviewing lift plans.

  • Overseeing critical lifts.

  • Coordinating subcontractors' crane deliveries and their assembly and disassembly.

  • Reviewing all required crane operations documents such as operation certificates, crane monthly inspection, and daily/weekly inspections. This role will maintain all files and records of such.

  • Coordinating overall site logistics including materials coming into the construction site.

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • NCCCO certified in tower cranes, large hydraulics and crawlers is a plus.

  • Must possess a clean driving record. A CDL with Class A endorsement is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of assembly and disassembly of cranes – crawlers and towers

  • Trained and experienced in rigging and flagging.

  • Qualified construction equipment operator.

  • Must be strongly safety conscious.

  • Should be mechanically inclined with troubleshooting ability.

  • Self-Motivated – Good Attitude

  • Trainable and willing to perform multiple tasks

  • Basic computer skills

  • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English.
