Royal Credit Union is looking for a Small Business Lender to join our expert and tenured team of well-respected Business Loan Officers. We are looking to add a Small Business Lending Officer in the St. Croix Valley (located in our St. Croix Falls office) who will provide unmatched service and custom solutions for our Members’ business banking needs and build lasting relationships with business owners throughout our communities. Strong communication skills, a high level of initiative, positive attitude and an ability to work well in a team environment are all important. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about serving our Members, capable of thriving in a high volume environment and confident in their ability to make sound lending decisions in a fast paced setting.
We are looking for a self-driven individual who enjoys community involvement and building long-term relationships based on trust. This person is motivated to look for creative ways to assist business owners through their start-up and growth phases and has experience evaluating business plans, financial reports and market data.
Candidates for the Small Business Lending Officer position at Royal must have a desire to grow both personally and professionally! There will be an abundant amount of opportunity to grow in this role - the sky is the limit!
Required Education and Experience include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent education experience.
- Minimum of one year of Commercial Lending experience or three years of Credit Analysis or equivalent work experience.
- Proven involvement our communities served through active participation in organizations which cater to small business owners.
You will also benefit if you have the following Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with small business owners or with small business lending.
