Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

As the Global Workplace Services (GWS) Category Lead within the KLA Indirect Procurement team, you would be responsible for leading the end-to-end category management, sourcing, contracting, and negotiating for the GWS category that includes construction, design, health & safety, and facilities management (FM) sub-categories in support of the KLA GWS strategy. This role requires close collaboration with the VP of Global Facilities and Real Estate, the facilities and real estate leadership team, and other key stakeholders.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive GWS category and sub-category strategies

  • Lead and manage strategic sourcing initiatives

  • Gather market and supply intelligence

  • Adept at analytics and cost modeling

  • Drive deal and contract negotiations

  • Lead key supplier management programs

  • Global opportunity management and alignment

  • Early client engagement

  • A key member of the KLA Procurement team

  • Help drive procurement best practices across KLA

Preferred Qualifications


  • Demonstrated experience, subject matter expertise, and knowledge in developing and implementing GWS category strategies, analytics, and action plans across the global footprint.

  • Proven experience managing strategic facilities management suppliers.

  • Gather, analyze and present data-strong, effective analytics skillset.

  • Translate business issues and operational issues into functional plans.

  • Demonstrated performance of detailed FM analytics and cost modeling utilizing internal and external benchmark information.

  • Develop and issue RF(x)s, analyzes proposals, negotiate price/delivery, lead the team through a concise, objective decision-making process.

  • Negotiate complex contracts, master agreements, professional service agreements, outsourcing agreements with complex Services Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).

  • Support implementation of new suppliers and GWS programs.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Able to effectively drive and lead meetings.

  • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to respond to shifting priorities, and quickly learn and improve new applications and processes.

  • Must be comfortable coordinating tasks across multiple functions and global locations.

  • Ability to develop supplier scorecards and monitor supplier performance.

  • Identify mission-critical suppliers, pricing structures, service level agreements, and SOWs.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic, complex environment. Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.

  • Ability to influence teams in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Gather global requirements and translate them into future requirements for supplier negotiation.

  • Indirect procurement purchasing, sourcing, and contract negotiation capability.

  • Creative thinker, with a desire and ability to look for better ways to approach issues and situations.

  • Excellent program management and project management skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with executive-level staff members on operational and strategic reviews.

  • The candidate is required to be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Five to ten years of experience in a procurement environment, especially indirect procurement, with a focus on facilities and workplace services category management.

  • BS/BA Business or related field with preferred concentration in Operations or Supply Chain Management (MS/MBA preferred a plus).
