REI Systems is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze and design solutions to business problems while facilitating the development of multiple solution options to address the needs of the customer. Specifically, this client seeksBAservicesin supportof basicresearchand the research/grant lifecyclethatincreasestheunderstanding of biological processes and lays the foundation for advances in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.The BA role would provide desk-side application requirements discovery and support forinvestigations leading tohow living systems work at a range of levels-from molecules and cells to tissues and organs-in research organisms, humans, and populations.

Responsibilities
Elicit and understand the client's business needs and mission, define requirements, write user stories, and manage a product backlog and develop prototypes for the proposedsolution
Study existing business processes, programs, and/or legacy systems in their native environments and perform a comprehensive analysis of existing problems and understand the areas forimprovement
Analyze and design the proposed solutions while facilitating the development of multiple solution options to address businessneeds
Collaborate with developers and test engineers to ensure teams understand the customer's functional and technicalrequirements
Identify and understand customer expectations as part of the requirements gathering process and act as the primary point of contact for all communication needs during the requirements gathering phase with thecustomer
Facilitate reconciliation of differences voiced by the customer with those in the system proposal, reducing scope creep or impacts to the delivered system'squality
Prepare project documentation like meeting minutes, business process documents and other process workflow diagrams as required.
Other similar professional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business and management, human resources, information systems, computer science, or another related field*
Six to eight years of experience working requirements gathering, requirements definition and analysis, and preparing Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects (if required) and good documentationskills
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and presentation skills
Master's degree in related field may be substituted for three years'experience

Work Authorization: Ability to obtain a US government Public Trust clearance
