Seeking a pioneer in the world of visual storytelling. We are looking for a digital artist with an inventive spirit who can grow, inspire, and be inspired by our team and clients in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in all aspects of digital visualization using industry standard real-time programs to translate a client's vision into sophisticated imagery. You're a go-getter who collaborates and communicates well across teams, and your insatiable drive to expand your creativity shows in the excellent work you produce. This is a full-time, work from home position. The ideal candidate must be able to self-supervise and lead a project from start to finish.

Each project is unique, and to each, you must bring a unique passion and expertise through multidisciplinary creative skills in 3D visualization, still imagery, film, and animation, as well as branding and interactive. Together, these disciplines form a cohesive and creative vision to produce compelling stories and brand narratives for our clients.

Ideal candidates will have a good eye for architectural representation and the ability to produce rendered imagery that effectively communicates design intent to clients. You will work and lead on multiple projects, with the ability to deliver quality work to deadlines.

Inside the Job

Your day-to-day work will involve:

Listening, consulting, and strategizing - leverage your experience and strategic knowledge to work with sellers on determining how visual storytelling can help differentiate Herman Miller to their customers.

Creating world class visualization experiences - utilize an array of visualization software and digital outputs to create a compelling story and dynamic experience.

Collaborating and Project Managing - As the owner of the final output, you will partner with sales, workplace designers, architects, and clients to ensure the project is on time and exceeds expectations

Learning and Growing - to help ensure Herman Miller stays on the leading edge of visual media by continuously learning new techniques and technology

What You Bring

Needed skills and experience for this role include:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in interior/architectural/facility design, organization development from an accredited program, or related field of study. Equivalent level of experience will be considered - typically acquired through 10 years of working in a directly related area. Master's degree preferred.

6 or more years of professional experience in 3D Architectural Visualization and client management

Expert experience with 3D visualization, rendering, animation, filmmaking, multimedia design, photographic/illustrative and computer aided design processes and affiliated software/tools (i.e., 3D Studio MAX, Twinmotion, Adobe SUITE, AutoCAD, Revit)

The ability to work in a fast-paced/changing environment on Fortune 100 opportunities while demonstrating excellent time management skills, ability to work well under pressure and having the flexibility to shift priorities quickly.

The ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and concepts

Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, solve problems, and work with all levels in the organization, including executive leadership.

Must be an assertive, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent Herman Miller in a professional manner in order to gain a high level of confidence from a diverse group of customers.

Proven organizational, planning and project management skills with demonstrated follow-though and results; ability to ensure timely and phenomenal quality deliverables.

Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on listening; including proficiency in creating and delivering impactful presentations to a variety of audiences. Technical writing skills helpful.

Technical/Creative writing skills helpful.
