Job Description

The right individual will manage and control inventory functions within the supply location. Manages the operation for receiving, storage, handling, and issuing supplies. Monitors and ensures the appropriate quantity of supplies are kept in the supply location at all times. Adjusts min/max levels to keep inventory at desired levels without over stocking, while maintaining sufficient stock to provided optimal service to the patient care units. Supervises staff according to facility needs. Makes staffing decisions and equipment procurement based on budgetary constraints of the department. Ensures that special patient chargeable items are requisitioned, received and billed to the patient. Attends facility meetings and outside offerings pertaining to supply chain management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • High school diploma or the equivalent

  • Two years experience in Supply Chain Management.

  • Ability to operate a computer and calculator, with extensive knowledge of the TMC materials management computer program.

  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to supervise and direct the work of others.

  • If driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.
