Job Description:

Harris Schools -FINS is looking for an energetic and highly motivated Account Manager with experience selling with in the schools sector, to join our growing organization.

As Account Manager, you will leverage your industry knowledge and insight to, purposefully go after new business to find, qualify, and secure new customers, representing our company with honesty and integrity, in a defined territory of your own.

What your impact will be:


  • Sell Harris Schools products in a defined territory

  • Collaborate with team, clients and all stakeholders

  • Achieve quarterly and yearly sales bookings targets

  • Generate leads through all necessary channels

  • Plan, coordinate, and roll out targeted marketing events to drive sales virtually and on site

  • Prepare proposals and quotes

  • Perform / coordinate product demonstrations

  • Attend regional and national tradeshows when Harris approves the safety of the events

  • Maintain opportunities and leads in CRM, updating the status of all accounts on a regular basis

  • Offer prospective customers unique industry insights and perspective

  • Identify value & economic drivers, and key decision makers for each prospective customer

What we are looking for:


  • 5+ years of complex sales experience in software sales to schools and municipalities

  • Hunter attitude

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and new business development

  • Works effectively within a collaborative and cohesive team-based environment

  • Excellent presentation skills virtually and in person

  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

  • Positive, results-oriented mindset

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and to consistently meet assigned deadlines

  • Comfortable with professionally challenging, and discussing money with, prospective customers
