Job Description:

Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

What will I be doing?

The Hilton Fraud & Investigations team prevents and corrects fraud incidents from occurring at hotels, our corporate offices, and within the loyalty program. The Senior Analyst, Data Analytics, will create reports, develop new strategies, and implement new initiatives to help identify, track, and resolve fraud within Hilton.

More, specifically, you will:

• Write SQL queries to identify fraudulent activity
• Maintain a Python-based decision review system to prevent fraud
• Work with company partners to implement new fraud reduction strategies
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports
• Investigate suspicious transactions
• Provide input on strategies to reduce fraud risks for new initiatives

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

• Excellent analytical skills: the aptitude to identify anomalies within extensive datasets, recognize trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
• Ability to evaluate risks and identify program vulnerabilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
• Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Three (3) years of professional experience
• Two (2) years of data analytics experience
• Proficient with SQL and Python
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
• One (1) year experience in fraud or loss prevention
• Experience implementing computer vision solutions

*This position can sit in McLean, VA or be Remote, except for within the state of Colorado
