Michael Baker International's civil engineering professionals manage and staff active projects in over 40 countries on five continents. DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is seeking a Civil Engineer I with a focus in the Civil/Energy market to join the team in our Moon Township, PA office. Under the guidance of senior project managers and engineers, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to the Energy Market including oil and gas (well pads, pipelines and compression), Renewables (solar, wind and hydro), and other types of civil engineering projects (mining, dams, landfills, coal ash recycling). Duties will consist of the following:

• Develop designs utilizing internal and external resources within project teams
• Occasionally conduct project site visits and attend meetings with team members and clients
• Coordinate with utility companies, architects, and other engineers on a regular basis to develop site plans and bidding documents
• Coordinate with and prepare documents for regulatory agencies to obtain required permits
• Utilize various engineering software packages to prepare calculations, documents, permits ad plans for various clients' projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus
• 4-6 years of experience in the civil, energy, and coal ash landfill markets
• Pennsylvania or other state issued PE, or ability to attain within six months
• Demonstrated ability in all technical aspects of site design and the ability to work independently
• Possess extensive skills in site layout, grading, drainage, utility, stormwater management and erosion control designs and permit development
• Experience with development of grading plans strongly preferred
• Client management experience and LEED Certification is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to create grading surfaces, profiles and pipe networks is desirable
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of various state regulations related to Oil & Gas development, renewable energy and coal ash landfill projects is a plus
