Oversee the use of Information Technology (IT) for designated clients. They will be the advisor to the client's IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place.
Responsibilities
Serve as the key point of contact for client IT needs and Managed Services relationship with Netsmart; including management, profitability, negotiation, and delivering on requirements
Propose budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades equipment, supervises computer specialists and IT workers, and presides over IT-related projects.
Consult with administration, department managers, and users to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.
Lead identification and implementation of operational best practices to drive consistency, efficiency, and profitability of the department.
Participate in vendor contract negotiations for computer equipment and software purchases for the clients.
Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
Identity, propose, select, design and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
This position will be based in Dallas, TX. Preference is for someone to live or reside in the Greater Metropolitan Dallas area
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree of equivalent work experience
3+years demonstrated success with client contract management, including development, negotiation, management, and execution
3+ years of experience with business strategy planning alongside the c-suite executives including the COO, CFO and/or CEO.
3+ years leadership experience
3 + years of demonstrated Change Management experience
Preferred:
Healthcare Information Technology work experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Work experience in a healthcare system or EHR company
Executive Level IT management experience
A strong strategic and business mindset
Ability to set and manage workload priorities to ensure successful completion of tasks.
