Job Description

The Repair Administrator is responsible for all aspects of developing good- rapport with the MRO/Repair Shops and ensure timely turn-around time on repairs orders. Duties require adherence to established repair pricing and Repair processes through CPEx. In addition to daily vendor contact, the Repair Administrator must support the sales and engine management department and maintain all orders are updated. This role with also interact with a variety of Chromalloy teams including the sales, product lines, warehouse operations, finance, and quality control/assurance.


  • Generate Repair orders for all engine types and QEC

  • Knowledgeable with trace docs

  • Adherence to Not To Exceed repair quotes for approvals

  • Administration and prioritization of Repair Requests, Request for quotes and to generate repair orders

  • Data entry to include repair orders, status updates, vendor quotes, and competitive price information

  • Daily vendor communication to support resolution of discrepancies, better pricing and expedite orders to support sales or/and engine build

  • Work with the accounting dept to solve any invoice issues

  • Work with the Inventory Locator System, and other MRO's to find repair vendors

Qualifications

  • 12 or more months of Aviation industry experience, with mainly engine parts

  • Sales Support role, or quoting role, or a combination of these roles

  • The Repair Administrator must demonstrate a working knowledge aircraft engine models, product lines, as well as, a superior ability to positively relate to and communicate with both internal and external customers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) is required to have a working knowledge of ERP systems, preferred Quantum.

  • Able to travel when required (5%-10%)

  • Reliable and able to multitask on fast pace environment
