Duties and Responsibilities |
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Loyola University Medical Center is currently recruiting for a Psychologist to provide services to oncology patients and their families. Candidate will provide consultation and in-service forums as needed to our oncology care teams regarding management of patients with health and behavior issues, maintain documentation of patient care in compliance with departmental and institutional requirements and participate in research and the educational program of the department for psychology trainees, psychiatry residents and medical students. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience | Candidate must be a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree, experience in psychosocial oncology is strongly preferred and completion of an APA-approved internship. Competence in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as well as other therapeutic approaches is required. Candidates should have strong collaboration skills and be accustomed to working with multi-disciplinary teams. |
