Job Description

The Engine Repair Representative is responsible for all aspect's vendor/supplier management for repair of aviation engine materials. This role shall interact with Sales, Product, Quality, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Generates repair orders for materials removed from all engine types.

  • Ensure parts sent for subcontract repair are processed in a timely manner.

  • Controls cost by negotiating repair excessive repair prices.

  • Administration and prioritization of repair requests, request for quotes.

  • Data entry to include repair orders, status updates, vendor quotes, and competitive price information.

  • Daily vendor communication to support resolution of issues and expedite repair orders.

  • Works with the finance, and Quality departments to resolve any open issues that are parts or invoice related.

Qualifications

  • 2 years sales experience with aviation parts and/or parts repair.

  • Previous Quantum Experience is preferred.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must exhibit a high-level of energy and of confidence working with customers, suppliers, and Chromalloy Intercompany employees.

  • Able to support customers queries off hours.

  • Periodic travel is required.
