BGIS is currently seeking a Fuel Service Techniciantojoin the team in Houston, TX.

Summary: Responsible for servicing fuel dispenses, electronics, and underground submersible tank pumps and motors. Responsible for installing media equipment, point of sale equipment, and provides superior customer service and support that are commensurate with company policy's and values by performing the following duties.



Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


1. Communicates with customers and help desk personnel to ensure understanding of work order, equipment issues, in a manner that is consistent with representing the company in a positive, professional manner.*



2. Listens to customer concerns and issues and provide positive feedback and solutions with a plan of action to correct issues in a timely manner.*



3. Removes water/fuel from in ground sump containers.*



4. Conducts visual inspections of dispensers and piping along with inside networking equipment to ensure proper function and adherence to set standards.*



5. Diagnoses, repairs, and replaces fuel dispensers, meters, and associated equipment in a timely manner.*



6. Diagnoses, repairs, and replaces point of sale equipment, pin pads, routers and all other associated equipment in a timely manner.*



7. Conducts all activities in a safe and responsible manner at all times.*



Qualifications:

Language Ability:


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Math Ability:


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability:


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic networking.


Education/ Experience:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates and Licenses:


Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
