The Data Architect will report to the Head of Data Strategy & Architecture and will be accountable for defining data architecture with a focus on data quality.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to establishing Zoetis data architecture strategies and their impact on application and system architectures
Contribute to defining cloud centric future state operational and analytic data architectures, ultimately helping us achieve unlock business value from insights
Maintains currency in data architecture trends and best practices
Quickly assess the compatibility and integration of proposed standards to ensure successful implementations across interdependent technologies.
Understand data management concepts including structured/unstructured data, batch/real-time integrations, data/process modeling.
Collaborate with functional Data Capability Groups within DAE to deliver data capabilities adhering to data architecture guidelines
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field
Experience working with Big Data and Cloud based environments.
8+ years of experience in data modeling, data profiling, data quality and data warehousing
Knowledgeable in multiple data management disciplines such as data governance, master data management, data integration, business intelligence, and analytics
