As an Associate Director within Macquarie Capital, you will serve as head of Australia equity sales with primary responsibility for playing lead role in growing Macquarie's U.S.-based Australian desk.


This includes managing and running desk; promoting and selling Australian stock ideas and research to U.S. client base; researching ideas and preparing communications consistent with client's investment strategy; servicing institutional investors and hedge fund clients; building and growing client base and forging strong business partnerships; and participating in presentations and corporate marketing events.


To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and education: Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance) plus 7 years of experience in job offered or 7 years of investment banking experience.


Prior experience must also include 5 years of Australian equities sales experience; 5 years of Australian capital markets transaction experience; 5 years of equity research analysis experience; 5 years of financial analysis and modeling experience; and 5 years of investor marketing experience. Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
