The Analysts are responsible for analyzing and reviewing source documentation as well as setting up and updating policy and contract information in the system. The incumbents in this position also assist in the resolution of system issues related to configuration.

How you will make an impact:

  • The Contract Setup Analyst will:
Review & Configure

  • Sets-up new customers or updates existing customers ensuring proper enrollment loading, invoice generation and claims processing

  • Reviews large, high profile or complex group requests to set-up or update information in policies/contracts

  • Prepares documentation for internal and external clients as appropriate

  • Provides guidance to internal customers on configuration issues, procedures and practices

Systems & Issue Resolution

  • Researches and resolves issues related to configuration using systems and workflows and provides feedback/recommendations to management, required to make decisions

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate policy/contract production according to submitted specifications and to resolve issues

  • Creates new configuration in the system in support of new group set-up requirements

  • Performs other duties and handles special projects as assigned

  • Strong knowledge of contract/policy processing concepts, policies, guidelines and systems

  • Ability to prioritize and manage duties in order to meet goals and deadlines

  • Aptitude to learn and develop proficiencies with new concepts, legal requirements, processes and technology

  • Effectively able to adapt to change and be comfortable handling risk and uncertainty

  • Customer-focused with ability to empathize with customer

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when exposed to sensitive information

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education, training and/or experience

  • At least 2 - 4 years of relevant experience is required
